It would be cool if there was a web installer for a web host. I have a domain that is hosted by justhost.com i have unlimited space and unlimited bandwith it would take a while to get the bulk of my music collection uploaded but it would be nice to have everything remotely hosted..

Anything is possible, but the problem is that everyone's hosting environment is very different. Because of both the legal side of things, and the terms of use policies enforced by the majority of web hosts, I don't know if you'll ever see an "All in one" installer that will be guaranteed to work 100% with just any web host or web hosting environment.

Some web hosts will support Java, others won't. Some may allow you to run dedicated processes, others wont. Some may allow you to store copyrighted music files, most wont.

I looked at Just Host's Terms of Service, and I think you need to have a closer look yourself. I work for a web hosting company, and I know if you tried to use Subsonic on our servers, the admins would shut down your account, citing their ToS, for copyright as well as for general violation of their acceptable use policy. After reviewing Just Host's policy, I can tell you that their company would do the same thing.

Your best option will be to setup a computer at your home to run Subsonic. It may not be easy for you to do, but at least you can be grateful for the learning opportunity as you go through the process of getting it working.
