I'm coming here for another vote to port Subsonic to WebOS. I came here because Simplify Music is now terminating their service as Google bought them and is now incorporating the technology into Android. That makes further development on Android to be a loosing proposition to you and I would imagine developing tech for a system that already has that tech baked into the OS is a waste of resources.
Simplify was the most used program on iOS for streaming your collection and now that it closed it's doors, your left with a big opportunity on your hands. I have both an iPhone and a Pre and would love a single client for both, and I'm more than willing to pay for it.
As it is now, the only real streaming apps that takes your local files online are Ampache Mobile and AmpachPre, both of which are way too complicated to set up for the average user. If you could streamline the already simple process you have now and promote the program in an area that is lacking the service, you could be very successful. Blackberry needs one, iOS definitely needs one and most definitely WEBOS HAS A LEGION OF USERS THAT WOULD BUY THIS.
You already have the backbone built up should you decide to build for webOS. You could either port the iPhone version over using Palm's PDK+SDK suite that'll be released soon, or you could spend a just couple hours taking the already existing web interface that you have and skinning it for webOS. It's almost trivial how easy this would be and you could get a large return should you choose to charge for it, which I highly suggest you do.
I'm more than willing to act as a guinea pig here, and would entertain any and all testing you would need for webOS. There is also a TON of incredibly dedicated users at the precentral.net forums that can help too, and the precentral.net editors are always helping developers by spotlighting new apps and homebrew endeavors, though I don't think you should go the homebrew route.
With HP's acquisition of Palm and a new phone coming out in the next 2 months or so, you have a golden opportunity here to make some good money for not a lot of work, as well had helping a lot of people. Get in on the ground floor and you will prosper.
