Since I installed Subsonic on my My Book Live Duo (which has a Debian OS), the disks don't sleep anymore. I'm 100% sure it's Subsonic accessing the disk someway because if I reboot the NAS and don't launch it, the disks sleep fine. As soon as I launch it, the disks don't sleep anymore.
I've tried fiddling with the Fast Access Mode
, but it didn't have any effect.Use this option to minimize disk access, for instance if your media files are located on a network disk. Note: Changes to files will only be visible after your media folders are scanned.
How can I make it stop accessing the disks all the time while nobody is streaming / no client is connected / no scanning is being done?
I'm actually on 22 day of my trial and so far the product is great, but the only thing stopping me to go Premium is this thing, that doesn't allow my NAS to sleep!
By the way, I've found a thread with a similar problem (http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1612) but it was for the Windows version. At the end of the thread a couple of users present my very same problem for Linux without any answer.
Thanks in advance, please let me know if you can help me or have something to try.
